DR. JACKY CERVANTES, PT, DPT
Founder & CEO
Doctor Jacky Cervantes is the main physical therapist for Carecity Physical Therapy. He has licenses and eligibility to practice in 7 international jurisdictions for physical therapy including: New York (NYSED), Connecticut (CT-DPH), New Jersey (NJ-DCA), Philippines (PRC), Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) and Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD).
He has a variety of experience in out-patient physical therapy including but are not limited to: Spinal conditions, post-surgical conditions, orthopedic conditions, neck pain, geriatric rehabilitation and wellness programs. He was born and raised in the Philippines and got his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in physical therapy there. In aid of interest in lifelong learning, he earned his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Utica College of New York. Currently, Doctor Jacky Cervantes is practicing Physical Therapy in New York where majority of conditions he handles revolve around spinal pain and elderly deconditioning.
He is very attentive to his patient's needs and does his best in explaining the nature of the condition in an easily understandable manner, as well as, the physical therapy implications and benefits.
In his free time, Dr. Cervantes spends time with his family. He also loves to go outdoors and into adventurous activities.
Bryan Rivera has been providing quality physical therapy treatment since 2004. He graduated physical therapy from the University of Perpetual Help System.
Despite his busy work and family schedule, he finds time to pursue advanced studies. Currently, he is just a few months away from completing the Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy through the University of Montana.
He is very passionate in taking care of people. Therefore, he managed to pursue this passion through physical therapy and rehabilitation. As an experienced physical therapist, Bryan has helped many people regain their abilities and achieve their optimal function. He specializes in shoulder, low back and postural rehabilitation.
He is currently providing out-patient and home visit therapy services in the Carecity Physical Therapy Queens county locations. In his free time, he loves to play basketball and spend quality time with his wife and three young children.
Doctor Jean Cayetano has extensive experience in out-patient rehabilitation including multi-disciplinary, and therapy-focused environments. She obtained her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from AT Still University, Arizona.
With her 17 years of diverse physical therapy experience, she continuously helps people suffering from pain, injuries and debilitation. She believes in the importance of explaining conditions and suggested treatment programs in a therapeutic and positive manner. Therefore, she easily builds rapport with her patients. She specializes in geriatric wellness, therapeutic exercises during & after pregnancy, gait & balance training, as well as, treatment of lower extremity dysfunctions.
Together with Doctor Jacky Cervantes, she has pioneered and managed the Physical Therapy home visits group of Carecity in the Bronx and Westchester areas. She also provides services in the Carecity Castle Hill Clinic location.
She is a hands-on mother to 3 wonderful boys and loves to bond with them while combining fun with learning. Her success & eagerness in providing patients the care that they deserve, primarily revolves around the verse from Romans 15:1 - “We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves.”
